Christopher Maurice Brown (né le 5 mai 1989) plus connu sous le nom de Chris Brown, est un chanteur de pop et de R'n'B américain. Il est aussi danseur et acteur.



Christopher Brown est né à Tappahannock en 1989, une ville de l'état de Virginie sur la côte Est des Etats-unis. Il a vu sa carrière prendre son envol en 2005 avec son premier album éponyme. Son premier single est "Run It!", produit par Scott Storch.

Il reçoit le prix de meilleur Révélation de l'année en 2006 lors des Soul Train Music Award. Chris Brown préfère chanter des pages de son journal intime (la peur, les joies et les ratés de ses premières fois adolescentes) plutôt que de danser avec des « poupées siliconées ». Il est également apparu dans le film This Christmas, Steppin' dans la série The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (La Vie de Palace de Zack et Cody en France et au Québec).

Il est également apparut dans l'émission Mon Incroyable Anniversaire passant sur MTV. Une émission où des jeunes américains millionnaires fêtent leur 16 ou 18 ans selon les régions des Etats Unis où cet âge représente leur majorité.

Il est également apparut dans des épisodes de la saison 3 et 4 de la série Newport Beach (en France) et Orange County (aux USA).
